Exhausted

Finally done with electives ! Our meeting lasted for 6 hours. Referencing is such a bi-atch. Feeling a lil bit nauseous after all the those hours we put in. I would say , it was great team work. The girls make awesome group mates :)

I'm so tired I can just drop dead right now. Slow down. Slow down

Hectic week

This week has been crazy. So much to do and so lil' time. Assignment due today, thank goodness I finished iy before my trip to Welly, stupid test tomorrow, final elective report due on Monday, symposium next week, and to top it up I'm down with the flu :( hate it when my immune system plays up like that. sigh. Finals are in 2 more weeks, looks like my "cramming" session will be starting soon. But then again, I'm looking forward to mom and sis coming over :) they make the exam period feel like a breeeeezeeee ~ coming home to home cooked food, and taking care of me if I get sick again. haha! Yes, I feel like a baby right now, but I deserve to be pampered now and then :)

Honestly, sometimes I wonder if pharmacy school is putting so much pressure on their students for the sake of proving themselves to other health professionals. If that was the case, it's not working. You can't get people to respect your profession just like *snap , it has to start with you respecting it first =.=

Oh well, back to studyin. To my fellow class mates, we'll get thru this and have a BLAST on graduation day :)

Hehe , aren't these cool !! They're pens shaped like lil 5ml syringes :) A friend bought them online.They come in multiple colours -purple,red,blue,green etc. But I chose red , for doxorubicin:) haha . I bet this would make anyone working at a pharmacy stand out. lol

Multi-vits, my life saver :)

My life-saver for the week : my newly bought Multi-Vits ! Been taking them for a week now :) I'm not sure if its a placebo effect or if its actually working, but I do feel the difference tho! Feeling less tired .It could be that cause I'm mildly anaemic and my iron levels have been at a low for the past weeks. Hence my beef cravings? Hmmm ~

Oh well , lets just say I'm loving the placebo-effect-or-maybe-not from my multi vits :)

Ps: this feels like me doing a drug ad. haha!

Rugby World Cup fever has reached Dunedin !! Honestly, this is the first time Dunedin has ever been this busy. It was a good walk in town on a Sunday afternoon , after having lunch with The Divas !! You guys crack me up :) Dirty minded people think alike I guess . HAHA! And the weather was amazing !!! :)

Growing pains part 2

Dear you,

As you get older,

You should know, that your feelings aren't as important as they seem. I guess it's no longer like when you were younger. Parents giving in to your tantrums, making sure you're all happy and contented.They create such a safe bubble, a safety net for you to fall back on. In the real world, I'll consider it a privilege if anyone gives a damn about how you feel. Sometimes, even the ones you can least expect  will hurt you the most. When you start your first job, do you think your colleagues or even your boss will consider your feelings? Or when you're in uni, do you think your course mates would pay any attention to how you're feeling today?Even flat mates , they couldn't care less about cleaning after themselves, let alone how you feel etc.

I guess. Life was much simpler back then.

Reflection

Dear Lord,

I am thankful. I truly am. Looking back, every prayer was answered in Your own perfect timing. I could never ask for anything different. Different path, different journey. Thank you for the people I love, and the people that love me :)
