Life

This week, I've insulted so many people it's not even funny. It's hard to tell whose over 65 years old :( and they get offended when you ask them "sir, just wondering, are you over 65?" The usual response would be " Hell no! Do i look like over 65??! " and a very apologetic "Oh.. so sorry sir. It's so hard to tell nowadays" follows.

Thinking maybe we should have thought things through before we chose our research topic.

Life in the real world is hard. People aren't as friendly as they seem. Does it cost you that much to smile?

But it does have its good points though,
One guy whom I was interviewing, was telling me how he missed living in the farm, how his wife passed away in a car accident, how his daughter-in-law makes awesome baking, and we chatted for a very long time. Another was telling me how he used to stay in Thailand for a bit and visited Penang to play soccer with the Aussie boys, how he has been keeping in contact with his "lady friend" for 35 years (making her suffer for that long he says lol ) and they're  road tripping tomorrow. I love listening to stories like these. They make you think of life in general and where it might take you.

I guess mine is still on hold. My fingers are still crossed.
